Operations Manager
Maria West is our Operations Manager. She started with our company as a Transaction Coordinator/Assistant for one of our Top Agents. In 2020 she transitioned into this position. Maria was born in Phoenix, AZ but raised in Caracas, Venezuela. Maria oversees the day-to-day financial, technical, and administrative operations.
Maria handles financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, reconciliations, vendor contracts, and financial reporting. She has in-depth technical expertise in managing software platforms and providing comprehensive support and training for both staff and agents. Skilled in onboarding new agents, maintaining contract renewals, supporting commission plans, and facilitating seamless integration into the office environment.
Effectively manages front desk staff through strategic hiring, training, and performance review processes, while ensuring top-tier customer service and operational efficiency. To add to her many responsibilities, Maria oversees building maintenance, subleasing, permit compliance, landscaping, and overall facility upkeep. She also plays a vital role in organizational compliance, company insurance, equipment maintenance, security monitoring, and database management.
She serves as a liaison to RE/MAX LLC and other RE/MAX offices while upholding policy and procedure standards for both agents and staff. Other hats Maria wears are in event planning, social media coordination, advertising design, and recruiting support.
