Jeremy “Gene” Goodwin

My strengths, as a real estate agent, are in construction knowledge and home inspection. I was a framing subcontractor in San Diego, California (2004-11) and currently operate my own home inspection business in Kingwood, Texas (Gene Inspections since 2017). I have inspected over 1,300 homes in the last 8 years and have seen all types of homes with all types of issues. I have enjoyed educating my clients on these issues so they could make informed decisions. I believe this experience translates well into my role as real estate agent whether representing a buyer or seller. For my buyer client I can assess the condition of a prospective home and its systems before any commitment to a purchase agreement. I can help my buyer client with a 3rd party inspection report and, if necessary, estimate repairs costs for any listed issues to help with price negotiation. For my seller client, I can offer advice on maintenance and repairs to improve their home’s listing. I can also offer clarity and realistic repair estimates for issues listed in the buyer’s inspection report to help with price negotiations.
